Compulsory attendance. The student is obliged to attend courses in accordance with the provisions of the degree programme and the general exam regulations. The degree programme director shall decide the cases in which a student has shown insufficient presence during a course (non-valid completion of the course). Insufficient presence is defined as more than 50% absence overall throughout the entire semester.

Compulsory attendance. Pittsburgh Public Schools shall be responsible for the enforcement of compulsory attendance requirements of Wilkinsburg School District resident students attending Pittsburgh Public Schools. Pittsburgh Public Schools will provide contemporaneous notice to Wilkinsburg School District of truancy processes initiated in relation to any Wilkinsburg School District student.

Compulsory attendance. TCJS or its JJAEP provider will enforce the compulsory attendance laws for students enrolled in the JJAEP. TCJS will notify the district liaison when a student fails to enroll in the JJAEP, and the District will enforce the compulsory attendance laws as to that student. The JJAEP will provide the district liaison a preliminary JJAEP school calendar for the upcoming school year by August 1st each year.

Compulsory attendance. Per Education Code 25.085, students who are at least six years of age, or who have been previously enrolled in first grade, and who have not yet reached their 18th birthday shall attend school for the entire period the program is offered, unless exempted by law. A student must also attend an extended-year program for which the student is eligible that is provided by TCS for students identified as likely not to be promoted to the next grade level or tutorial classes required by TCS under Education Code 29.084

  • Conference Attendance The Federation will be entitled to five (5) person days per year release time for designated Federation representatives to attend conferences. All conference expenses will be the responsibility of the Federation, unless funding is requested and approved through regular District processes for conference attendance.

  • Court Attendance Any employee covered by this Agreement who may be required to attend any commission, court or hearing, to give evidence in any case, civil or criminal respecting the hotel in which they are employed, shall be compensated at the same hourly rate as called for in this Agreement, with a minimum of four (4) hours pay.

  • Meeting Attendance The Contractor shall attend such meetings of the Town relative to the Scope of Work set forth in Exhibit A as may be requested by the Town.   • Subpoena Leave 4.11.1 When a unit member is absent because of a mandatory court appearance, except as a litigant, the unit member shall suffer no monetary or sick leave loss by reason of this service. 4.11.2 Fees, exclusive of mileage, paid by the court or party requiring a unit member's appearance shall be paid to the District unless the fees are greater than the unit member's salary, in which case the unit member may retain the fees and be listed as absent due to personal business without pay. 4.11.3 A copy of the subpoena or certificate of the clerk of the court must be filed with the absence report.

  • Perfect Attendance A bonus for perfect attendance will be paid to both full and part-time employees. The amount of $100 will be paid for the first quarter of perfect attendance, $125 for the second accumulated quarter of perfect attendance, $150 for the third accumulated quarter of perfect attendance, and $250 for the fourth quarter of accumulated perfect attendance. Payment for perfect attendance shall be reflected in the second paycheck each January and July for qualifying Association members. These pay days may be adjusted if the school calendar changes. In order to be considered for perfect attendance no sick leave, personal leave days, partial days, or days without pay may be used during the quarter.

  • Initiation of TIPS Sales When a public entity initiates a purchase with Vendor, if the Member inquires verbally or in writing whether Vendor holds a TIPS Contract, it is the duty of the Vendor to verify whether the Member is seeking a TIPS purchase. Once verified, Vendor must include the TIPS Contract Number on all purchase communications and sales documents exchanged with the TIPS Member.

  • ATTENDANCE AT MANDATORY MEETINGS/SCHOOL EVENTS Where an employee is required through clear direction by the board to attend work outside of regular working hours, the provisions of the local collective agreement regarding hours of work and compensation, including any relevant overtime/lieu time provisions, shall apply. Required attendance outside of regular working hours may include, but is not limited to school staff meetings, parent/teacher interviews, curriculum nights, Individual Education Plan and Identification Placement Review Committee meetings, and consultations with board professional staff.
