Computer Equipment Purchase. (a) An employee, upon completion of the initial probationary period, shall be entitled to an advance for the purpose of purchasing personal computer equipment. The advance shall be issued to the employee upon submission of proof of purchase in the 30 day period prior to applying for the advance. The advance will not exceed the actual cost or $2500, whichever is lesser. (b) The advance shall be repaid to the Employer through payroll deduction at a minimum rate of $100 per pay for 26 pay periods. (c) If an employee's employment is terminated prior to complete repayment of the advance, the Employer shall deduct any amounts outstanding from any payments owed by the Employer to the employee. Any amount not recovered by the Employer from the employee's last paycheque shall become immediately due and payable to the Employer by the employee on the last day of work.
