COMPUTER WORKSTATIONS. Section 1. The university will make a good-faith effort to create and maintain safe computer workstations. Section 2. The university will inform employees if it is using computer monitoring. Section 3. The university will not use subliminal software. Section 4. The Employer and the Union agree that employees who are assigned full time to continuously work at a computer performing such duties as data-entry or similar tasks may be more productive if provided short periods of assignment to other duties throughout the work shift. Subject to operational needs, managers will arrange other work assignments so as to provide ten (10) minutes of relief for each hour worked continuously at a computer. Section 5. Upon request, employees who operate a computer shall be provided available wrist rests for trial usage. If the wrist rest is determined to be beneficial a permanent wrist rest will be assigned to the station.

Equipment determined to be beneficial by the University as a result of the assessment may be provided.
COMPUTER WORKSTATIONS. The Employer shall give consideration to appropriate NIOSH recommendations specific to the purchase, installation and operation of computer workstations. The Employer agrees to comply with all state and federal regulations related to the installation and utilization of computer workstations.
COMPUTER WORKSTATIONS. Participating Partner shall have or retain sole ownership of computer workstations and other infrastructure utilized pursuant to this Agreement.

The University will maintain at least three work stations to conduct investigations. Employees will not be required to use personal electronic devices for these tasks. Section 5. Employees will not be required to input data or complete reports on Mobile Data Terminals (MDT’s). Employees may choose, at the employee’s sole discretion, to use MDT’s for appropriate work purposes other than basic Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) inquiries.
COMPUTER WORKSTATIONS. Work stations within the Bloustein School and Heldrich Center are secured using hardened baseline images, multiple endpoint security programs (Symantec Endpoint Protection and Malwarebytes) with console based monitoring solutions along with limited rights policies that prevent end users from making changes on the systems. These systems are also scanned regularly for sensitive data to ensure that secure data is not being saved locally. This scanning is currently being upgraded to an agent based solution to improve Data Loss Prevention efforts.

  • Computer Software The Grantee certifies that it has appropriate systems and controls in place to ensure that state funds will not be used in the performance of this Grant Agreement for the acquisition, operation, or maintenance of computer software in violation of copyright laws.

  • Computer Equipment No computers and/or personal electronic devices, such as tablets and laptop computers, or any component thereof, may be purchased with funds provided under this Contract, regardless of purchase price, without prior written approval of ADMINISTRATOR. Any such purchase shall be in accordance with specifications provided by ADMINISTRATOR, be subject to the same inventory control conditions specified above in Subparagraphs 18.1.1 to 18.1.4, and, at the sole discretion of ADMINISTRATOR, become the property of COUNTY upon termination of this Contract.

  • Workstation Encryption Supplier will require hard disk encryption of at least 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) on all workstations and/or laptops used by Personnel where such Personnel are accessing or processing Accenture Data.

  • Firmware 7.1 The Supplier must deliver the equipment, Goods or hardware equipped with all the firmware required to use all the Goods or hardware’s functions. Any software embedded in the equipment, Goods or hardware, including the firmware, is provided to the Local Government with a license to use this software, with all license costs and royalties being included in the Fee Schedule (Schedule C). All firmware will be the most recent version available at the time of shipping.

  • COMMERCIAL COMPUTER SOFTWARE If performance involves acquisition of existing computer software, the following Company Exhibit is incorporated by reference: CCS Commercial Computer Software License (Company – July 2010).
