Conducting Reference Checks on Staff Sample Clauses

Conducting Reference Checks on Staff. BI staff is diligent in conducting reference checks on potential staff. Just as we avoid candidate misrepresentation through our process of verification on state education and skills, shown in Section 1.2.2, we apply a similar process for our reference checks. Our dedicated technical team researches the references listed by candidates prior to contacting them. Once contacted, we perform similar screening questions that give our team members a “sense of authenticity” that the reference is indeed who they are representing themselves as. Once verified, we ask detailed questions on the candidate’s prior performance including both technical skills and soft skills to gain a better understanding of the ability, attitude, and potential of the candidate and what they will add to our work environment.
