Letters of Recommendation. You must write a reasonable number of recommendation letters each year in response to student requests.
Letters of Recommendation. If an employee requests a letter of recommendation from the administrator or their supervisor, and the administrator or their supervisor agrees to write one, a copy of such letter shall be placed in their personnel file upon the teacher’s request.
Letters of Recommendation. District Administration will meet with the High School Administrators in an attempt to find ways to provide recognition of and relief for those teachers who write many letters of recommendation for scholarships and college applications. Such relief might include released time, comp time, adjunct duty credit or other appropriate means as suggested by members of the High School Administration.
Letters of Recommendation. The House Officer may request letters of recommendation from Rush Medical College faculty. The individual faculty member, at their discretion, may request that the House Officer sign a letter waiving their right to review the letter(s) of recommendation.

Teachers shall be on campus during this release time.

Letters of Recommendation. A. The members and/or the Union shall not make comments to prospective employers of members who have retired from or otherwise terminated employment with the City. All communication with prospective employers about former employees shall be by City Manager, or his designee.
B. The City agrees that a member shall have the right to include in the member's official personnel record a written and signed refutation (including signed witness statements) of any material the member considers to be detrimental.
Letters of Recommendation. The School District agrees to pay $110 to teachers writing ten (10) letters, and agrees to pay $220 to teachers writing twenty (20) letters. There shall be no pro-rated payment (e.g., less than ten letters or between ten and twenty letters). Such payment shall be submitted via timesheet. Alternatively, in lieu of the above-referenced payment teachers may request a substitute for one (1) full day in order to write ten letters, or may request a substitute for two (2) full days in order to write twenty letters. Teachers requesting a substitute shall submit a list of students for whom letters will be written to the High School Principal at the time of the request. No additional compensation or substitute shall be allowed for any letters in excess of twenty.
