Conduit Infrastructure. The horizontal and vertical conduit infrastructure will consists of up to 1x2” EMT conduit per Licensee unless otherwise agreed upon by the Licensor in its sole discretion.. On a maximum of every third floor (in riser rooms), there will be one 16” x 16”x 8” junction box, where 2” EMT conduits will pass through to allow the Licensee’s communication cables to exit and connect to the tenants network hardware. The junction box is to be locked with cylinders supplied by the Licensee, so that the Licensee will control all access. The junction boxes are to be offset, so no more than 2 junction boxes are present in any Telecomm Riser Room. The “floor” horizontal raceway extending the vertical conduit system to the tenant’s space will be provided by EMT conduit sized as required. No free air cabling is permitted. The Licensee does not require the Owner’s approval for the type, quality, or manufacture of fiber, wire or cable installed in the empty conduit systems other than it must comply with at a minimum the Canadian Electrical Code.
