CONTRACTOR shall provide services in conformance with all applicable state and federal statutes, regulations and subregulatory guidance, as from time to time amended, including but not limited to: 1.1.1. California Code of Regulations, Title 9; 1.1.2. California Code of Regulations, Title 22; 1.1.3. California Welfare and Institutions Code, Division 5; 1.1.4. United States Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, including but not limited to Parts 438 and 455; 1.1.5. United States Code of Federal Regulations, Title 45; 1.1.6. United States Code, Title 42 (The Public Health and Welfare), as applicable;

CONFORMITY WITH STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS. 1.1. Federal Law Requirements: 1.1.1. Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 Section 2000d, as amended, prohibiting discrimination based on race, color, or national origin in federally-funded programs. 1.1.2. Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (42 USC 3601 et seq.) prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin in the sale or rental of housing. 1.1.3. Age Discrimination Act of 1975 (45 CFR Part 90), as amended 42 USC Sections 6101-6107), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of age. 1.1.4. Age Discrimination in Employment Act (29 CFR Part 1625). 1.1.5. Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act (29 CFR Part 1630) prohibiting discrimination against the disabled in employment. 1.1.6. Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (28 CFR Part 35) prohibiting discrimination against the disabled b public entities. 1.1.7. Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (28 CFR Part 36) regarding access. 1.1.8. Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 USC Section 794), prohibiting discrimination on the basis of individuals with disabilities. 1.1.9. Executive Order 11246 (42 USC 2000(e) et seq. and 41 CFR Part 60) regarding nondiscrimination in employment under federal contracts and construction contracts greater than $10,000 funded by federal financial assistance. 1.1.10. Executive Order 13166 (67 FR 41455) to improve access to federal services for those with limited English proficiency. 1.1.11. The Drug Abuse Office and Treatment Act of 1972, as amended, relating to nondiscrimination on the basis of drug abuse.

Contractor shall provide services in conformance with all applicable state and federal statutes, regulations and sub regulatory guidance, as from time to time amended, including but not limited to: 1) California Code of Regulations, Title 9; 2) California Code of Regulations, Title 22; 3) California Welfare and Institutions Code, Division 5; 4) United States Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, including but not limited to Parts 438 and 455; 5) United States Code of Federal Regulations, Title 45; 6) United States Code, Title 42 (The Public Health and Welfare), as applicable; 7) Balanced Budget Act of 1997; 8) Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA); and 9) Applicable Medi-Cal laws and regulations, including applicable sub-regulatory guidance, such as BHINs, MHSUDS INs, and provisions of County’s, state or federal contracts governing client services. B. In the event any law, regulation, or guidance referred to in subsection (A), above, is amended during the term of this Agreement, the Parties agree to comply with the amended authority as of the effective date of such amendment without amending this Agreement.

  • State and Federal Laws This Agreement shall be subject to all present and future applicable federal and state laws, executive orders of the President of the United States or the Governor of the State of Washington, and rules and regulations of governmental authority. Should any provision or provisions become unlawful by virtue of the above or by declaration of any court of competent jurisdiction, such action shall not invalidate the entire Agreement. Any provisions of this Agreement not declared invalid shall remain in full force and effect for the term of the Agreement. If any provision is held invalid, the Employer and Union shall enter into immediate negotiations for the purpose, and solely for the purpose, of arriving at a mutually satisfactory replacement for such provision.

  • NOTIFICATION TO STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES Copies of this document will be provided to other state and federal agencies as a means of notifying them of this approval.

  • Compliance with Federal, State and Local Laws a. The Grantee and all its agents shall comply with all federal, state and local regulations, including, but not limited to, nondiscrimination, wages, social security, workers’ compensation, licenses, and registration requirements. The Grantee shall include this provision in all subcontracts issued as a result of this Agreement. b. No person, on the grounds of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, age, gender, or disability, shall be excluded from participation in; be denied the proceeds or benefits of; or be otherwise subjected to discrimination in performance of this Agreement. c. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. d. Any dispute concerning performance of the Agreement shall be processed as described herein. Jurisdiction for any damages arising under the terms of the Agreement will be in the courts of the State, and venue will be in the Second Judicial Circuit, in and for Leon County. Except as otherwise provided by law, the parties agree to be responsible for their own attorney fees incurred in connection with disputes arising under the terms of this Agreement.

  • Compliance with Federal Law, Regulations, and Executive Orders This is an acknowledgement that FEMA financial assistance will be used to fund all or a portion of the contract. The contractor will comply with all applicable Federal law, regulations, executive orders, FEMA policies, procedures, and directives.
