Federal Law Requirements. Implementer agrees it will comply with all Applicable Laws that originate from the federal government, including the following: (A) Implementer will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because such employee or applicant has inquired about, discussed, or disclosed the compensation of the employee or applicant or another employee or applicant. This provision shall not apply to instances in which an employee who has access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of such employee's essential job functions discloses the compensation of such other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to such information, unless such disclosure is in response to a formal complaint or charge, in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer, or is consistent with the contractor's legal duty to furnish information; and (B) Implementer will comply with the requirements of 29 CFR Part 471, Appendix A to Subpart A, which requires employers to provide notice to employees regarding their rights under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and FAR 52.222-50, which requires employers to establish policies and procedures for ensuring that its employees do not engage in or support severe forms of trafficking in persons, procure commercial sex acts, or use forced labor in performance of this contract. (C) Implementer shall submit an Annual Supplier Self-Certification Form accurately describing Implementer’s status as either a Large Business or a Small Business as defined in 48 C.F.R § 52.219-8, as such statute may be amended from time to time. Implementer shall notify Edison if information relevant to the accurate determination of Implementer’s status under 48 C.F.R § 52.219-8 changes, including but not limited to changes to Implementer’s size, classification, or ownership.

Federal Law Requirements. In addition to the provisions in the Article X, Consultant agrees to use competitive procedures and to follow the applicable Federal regulations in 2 C.F.R. Part 200.318 through 200.326 in employing or retaining any subcontractor to perform Work under this Agreement. Consultant also agrees to comply with the applicable provisions in 2 C.F.R. Part 200.318 through 200.326 as to accounting and financial requirements, records maintenance and administration of contracts. Consultant further agrees to comply with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements contained in 49 C.F.R. Part 26.
