Continuing Skills Testing Clause Samples

The Continuing Skills Testing clause establishes an ongoing requirement for individuals or employees to periodically demonstrate their proficiency or competence in specific skills relevant to their role. Typically, this involves scheduled assessments, evaluations, or certifications that must be completed at regular intervals throughout the term of employment or engagement. By mandating continuous verification of skills, the clause ensures that personnel maintain up-to-date qualifications and helps organizations mitigate risks associated with skill degradation or outdated knowledge.
Continuing Skills Testing. The MCO shall require all of its certified screeners to participate in continuing-skills testing required by the Department. The Department will not require continuing-skills testing more than once per year. The MCO will: i. Provide for the participation of all certified screeners in any continuing-skills training that is required by the Department. ii. Administer continuing-skills testing required by the Department in accordance with instructions provided by the Department at the time of testing. iii. Cooperate with the Department in planning and carrying out remedial action if the results of the continuing-skills testing indicate performance of any individual screener or group of screeners is below performance standards set for the test result, including retesting if the Department believes retesting to be necessary.

The Department requires each screener to pass a test of continuing knowledge and skills at least once every two years, in order to maintain their certification. The PO will: Provide for the participation of all certified screeners in any continuing-skills training and testing that is required by the Department. Administer continuing-skills testing required by the Department in accordance with instructions provided by the Department at the time of testing. Cooperate with the Department in planning and carrying out a plan of correctionif the results of the continuing-skills testing indicate performance of any individual screener or group of screeners is below performance standards set for the test result, including retesting if the Department believes retesting to be necessary.

  • Specialized Skills Each certificated support person demonstrates in his/her performance a competent level of skill and knowledge in designing and conducting specialized programs of prevention, instruction, remediation and evaluation.

  • Recommended language skills The sending institution, following agreement with the receiving institution, is responsible for providing support to its nominated candidates so that they can have the recommended language skills6 at the start of the mobility period (see also section 5 “Preparation and Support”).   • Standardized Testing Students of the School shall be tested with the same standardized tests as other Idaho public school students.

  • Follow-up Testing An employee shall submit to unscheduled follow-up drug and/or alcohol testing if, within the previous 24-month period, the employee voluntarily disclosed drug or alcohol problems, entered into or completed a rehabilitation program for drug or alcohol abuse, failed or refused a preappointment drug test, or was disciplined for violating the provisions of this Agreement and Employer work rules. The Employer may require an employee who is subject to follow-up testing to submit to no more than six unscheduled drug or alcohol tests within any 12 month period.

  • Alcohol Testing Alcohol testing will be conducted by using an evidential breath-testing device (EBT) approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. A screening test will be conducted first. This initial screening may be accomplished using a saliva test kit. If the result is an alcohol concentration level of less than 0.02 percent, the test is considered a negative test. If the alcohol concentration level is 0.02 percent or more, a second confirmation test using the EBT will be conducted. The procedures that will be utilized by the lab for collection and testing of the specimen are attached hereto as Appendix A.
