Continuous Assignment. a. In the event that a teacher-teaching-on-call‘s assignment is interrupted by the return of a teacher who subsequently is absent after no more than two working days, and the teacher-teaching-on-call has performed the duties in a satisfactory manner, then the teacher-teaching-on-call shall be reassigned and the assignment shall proceed as if it has not been broken for salary purposes.
