Contract Works. With regards to contract works claims, the contractor / consultant is responsible for the following deductibles: • All Civil Work and Earthworks – R300 000 deductible (excess) • All other claims – R300 000 deductible (excess) • Other property insured – R700 000 deductible (excess) • Contractors / consultants may re-insure the deductibles

Contract Works. Contract works means;
13.17.1 property forming part of the permanent or temporary works completed or in the course of completion in the performance of the contract with your principal, and
13.17.2 materials or other goods supplied for incorporation into the works but not including property more specifically insured
Contract Works. Where the Contract comprises or includes Minor Works, Contract Works insurance for an amount not less than the full cost of reinstatement of the relevant works. The policy must include cover against physical loss or damage to the works and unfixed goods and materials whether on or off the site. The policy must be for the duration of the Term and any defects liability period, and must be extended to include:
(i) inland transit, off-site storage anywhere in Australia;
(ii) furniture, fixtures, and equipment commissioning and testing; and
(iii) loss of or damage to, and the cost to rectify, replace or repair property, which is free of a defective condition but is damaged in consequence of other property which is in a defective condition.
Contract Works. The insurance for Building(s) extends to include contract works to the extent to which you have contracted to arrange cover provided that:
a) this Extension shall not apply to any contract where the original contract price or contract value on completion exceeds £250,000;
b) this Extension shall only apply insofar as such contract works are not otherwise insured;
c) we shall not be liable for the first £250 of each and every occurrence for damage to such

Contract Works. With regards to contract works claims, the Vendor-Partner / Vendor-Partner is responsible for a deductible (excess) of R250 000; Vendor-Partners / Vendor-Partners should re-insure the deductible.
Contract Works. The contractor must secure a contract works insurance cover in respect of all loss or damage for a minimum limit of R150 000, each and every claim • The contractor must secure a contract works insurance cover in respect of loss or damage arising from testing or commissioning for a minimum limit of R250 000, each and every claim • The contractor must submit to ACSA proof of cover in the form of a certificate of insurance before a contract is signed between ACSA and the contractor
Contract Works. Under this Section, the Company will pay for damage occurring during the Period of Insurance to the contract works caused by or resulting from a cause not otherwise excluded. Cover will continue under this Section until the issue of a Certificate of Practical Completion or until taken over by the Insured; and is subject to the applicable Limit of Liability shown in the Schedule. The following extensions of cover are provided under Part 1, Section 9 of this Policy, subject to any applicable Limit of Liability shown in the Schedule. Cover under this Section is extended to include: an increase in the Limit of Liability as shown in the Schedule by an amount not exceeding twenty five
