CONTRACTING OF MAINTENANCE AND ENGINEERING WORK. 28.01 The Company will provide notice of intention to contract maintenance and/or engineering project work through a meeting to be held between the Company and the Skilled Trade chairperson or his/her designate. The notice will be provided through Management meetings, and weekly meetings with the skilled trades chairperson or his/her designate. The Company will provide any project information and the reasons for intending to use a contractor. The Union will be given opportunity to make representation to the Company on the project. The Company will give due consideration to the Union recommendations with respect to the following:
