CONTRACTING OF WORK. A. It is not the University’s intent to contract to the harm or detriment of its employees. However, the University reserves the right to contract for goods and services to the extent not inconsistent with applicable law. B. In the event of such contracting out or subcontracting, no employee shall be laid off, forfeit recall rights, or take a reduction in pay as a result thereof. C. Nothing in this Article shall be construed to affect any current contracts, or their renewal, or to prevent any contracting which does not produce any of the foregoing prohibited results.
