CONTRACTING OFFICER'S AUTHORITY. The Contracting Officer is the only person authorized to make or approve any changes in the requirements of this contract and notwithstanding any provisions contained elsewhere in this Contract, the said authority remains solely in the Contracting Officer. In the event the Contractor makes any changes at the direction of any person other than the Contracting Officer, the change shall be considered to have been made without authority and no adjustment shall be made in the contract terms and conditions, including price.

If the Contractor effects any change at the direction of any person other than the KO, the change will be considered to have been made without authority and solely at the risk of the contractor.
1.6.13.1 Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR): The COR will be identified by separate letter. The COR monitors all technical aspects of the contract and assists in contract administration. The COR is authorized to perform the functions identified within their appointment memo and nothing further.
