CONTRACTOR'S SUBORDINATE STAFF AND THEIR CONDUCTS. 5.4.1 The Contractor, on the date of award of the Contract, shall name and depute a qualified engineer having sufficient experience in carrying out work of similar nature to whom the equipments, materials, if any, shall be issued and instructions for Works given. The Contractor shall also provide, to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge sufficient and qualified staff to superintend the execution of the Works, competent sub-agents, supervisor and leading hands including those specially qualified by previous experience to supervise the type of Works comprised in the Contract in such manner as will ensure work of the best quality and expeditious working. Whenever in the opinion of the Engineer-in-Charge, additional properly qualified supervision staff is considered necessary, they shall be employed by the Contractor without additional charges on account thereof. The Contractor shall ensure to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge that Subcontractors, if any shall provide competent and efficient supervision over the Work entrusted to them. 5.4.2 If and whenever any of the Contractor's or Subcontractor's agents, assistants, supervisor or other employees, are in the opinion of Engineer-in-Charge guilty of any misconduct or be incompetent or insufficiently qualified or negligent in the performance of their duties or that in the opinion of the Owner or Engineer-in- Charge, it is undesirable for administrative or any other reason for such person or persons to be employed in the Works, the Contractor, if so directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, shall at once remove such person or persons from his employment thereon. Any person or persons so removed from the Works shall not again be employed in connection with the Works without the written permission of the Engineer-in-Charge. Any person so removed from the Works shall be immediately replaced by the Contractor, at his own cost and expense by a qualified and competent substitute. Should the Contractor be requested to repatriate any person removed from the Works, he shall do so and shall bear all costs in connection herewith. 5.4.3 All Contractors personnel entering upon the Owner's premises shall be properly identified by badges issued by the Owner which must be worn all times on Owner's premises.

  • Contractors All LAUSD Contractors and their Representatives are expected to conduct any and all business affiliated with LAUSD in an ethical and responsible manner that fosters integrity and public confidence.   • Contractor’s Project Manager and Key Personnel Contractor shall appoint a Project Manager to direct the Contractor’s efforts in fulfilling Contractor’s obligations under this Contract. This Project Manager shall be subject to approval by the County and shall not be changed without the written consent of the County’s Project Manager, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Contractor’s Project Manager shall be assigned to this project for the duration of the Contract and shall diligently pursue all work and services to meet the project time lines. The County’s Project Manager shall review and approve the appointment of the replacement for the Contractor’s Project Manager.
