Conversion of Sick Leave to Personal Leave. a. An employee with five (5) or more years of continuous service may convert up to forty (40) hours of accumulated paid sick leave to personal leave on January 1st of each calendar year after achieving that length of service. At the time of conversion the employee must have accumulated sick leave in their accrual bank as follows:
