Conversion to Overtime Pay. Any employee shall be permitted to transform accumulated compensatory hours into payment, in minimum blocks of eight (8) hours or less if ending balance is zero, upon twenty- eight (28) days’ notice to the Payroll Department of the City. The twenty-eight (28) day notice requirement shall be waived in the case of termination of employment with the City or promotion to a position outside the bargaining unit.
