Common use of Converted Positions Clause in Contracts

Converted Positions. (1) Notwithstanding the provisions of clause 24.01 when a position is converted or, where as a result of audit or review, a converted position is found to be over-classified and the maximum salary payable in the new range is less than the maximum salary of the incumbent of that position, he shall be paid as the present incumbent of that position in a holding range which will permit him to be paid at a salary which is nearest to and not less than his present maximum salary.
