The Utility Engineer shall utilize the base map of existing utilities as prepared, if available, and make a determination of the following:
1. Facilities in conflict with the proposed project that are to be relocated.
2. Facilities to be abandoned in place.
3. Facilities to remain in service and in place as a result roadway design adjustment and meeting the current UAR.
4. The Utility Engineer shall be responsible for determining if there are additional facilities, not shown in the Subsurface Utility Engineering (XXX) documents, which require relocation. Coordinate this information with the City/TxDOT immediately upon discovery.
