Cost of General Conditions. The Cost of General Conditions shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.2 of this Agreement.
Cost of General Conditions. Items included in the Cost of General Conditions are all items necessary to perform Construction Phase Services described herein including, but not limited to:

Cost of General Conditions. The Design-Builder’s Lump Sum General Conditions Cost shall be the extent of what the Design- Builder is entitled to recover for the cost of General Conditions. General Conditions may include, but are not limited to:
a) Cost of construction staff. Only staff stationed in the field are reimbursable;
b) Fringe Benefits associated with construction staff;
c) Payroll taxes and payroll insurance associated with construction staff;
d) Staff costs associated with obtaining permits and approvals;
e) Out-of-house consultants, including permit expeditors;
f) Job vehicles;
g) The field office(s) for the Design-Builder and Department, including, but not limited to:
(i) trailer purchase and/or rental; (ii) field office installation, relocation and removal; (iii) utility connections and charges during the Construction Phase; (iv) furniture: (v) office supplies;
h) Office equipment including, but not limited to: (i) computer hardware and software; (ii) fax machines; (iii) copying machines; (iv) telephone installation, system and use charges;

Cost of General Conditions. The XXXX’ general condition costs shall be reimbursable at cost and without xxxx-up. Only the following items, however are reimbursable (any other items or expenses are non-reimbursable and the XXXX shall use its fee to cover any additional cost items): The cost of “construction staff”. The term construction staff shall mean the Project Executive, project managers and superintendents assigned to the Project, administrative and professional staff performing scheduling, cost estimating, quality control, quality assurance and accounting services assigned on a full-time basis to the Project site; Fringe Benefits associated with construction staff; Payroll taxes and payroll insurance associated with construction staff; Staff costs associated with obtaining permits and approvals; Site security, including, but not limited to, perimeter fencing, cameras and watchmen; Out-of-house consultants, including permit expeditors; Department standard signage, fence wrap / wind screen; The field office for the XXXX including but not limited to: (i) trailer purchase and/or rent; (ii) field office installation, relocation and removal; (iii) utility connections and charges during the Construction Phase; (iv) furniture; (v) office supplies; (vi) temporary generators; (vii) any site-work required to provide access to the field office, including steps, ramps and walkways; Temporary restrooms, hand-wash stations and lockers; Office equipment including but not limited to: (i) computer hardware and software; (ii) fax machines; (iii) copying machines; (iv) telephone installation, system and use charges: (v) job radios; Site cleanup, and cleanup of surrounding sidewalks and streets; Snow removal and ice-prevention on sidewalks that surround the site; Miscellaneous labor and tools used by XXXX; Local delivery and overnight delivery costs; and First aid facility. CONSTRUCTION MANAGER’S PRECONSTRUCTION SERVICES Preconstruction Services. The Preconstruction Phase will start from the issuance of the notice to proceed through the execution of this Agreement. The Department will issue a notice to proceed for preconstruction services (the “Letter Contract”). During the Preconstruction Phase, the Construction Manager shall provide such preconstruction services as are necessary to properly advance the Project.
