COUNSELING LOADS. The student-counselor ratio shall not exceed 500 to 1 full-time secondary counselor. The pupil-counselor ratio shall not exceed 700 to 1 full-time elementary counselor.
COUNSELING LOADS. Counseling loads shall be surveyed in individual schools and adjustments made as soon as funds and/or staff permit. By reallocation of clerical assignments, the clerical assistance provided counselors shall be increased during the term of this Agreement. The parties agree to cooperate in efforts to more effectively utilize available student assistants and school service assistants to help relieve counselors of some of the routine tasks which now interfere with their successful performance of primary counseling duties.
