County Premium Subsidy On and After January 1, 2013. Beginning on January 1, 2013, the County will pay the monthly premium subsidy amounts for employees and eligible family members that are stated in section A (1) above. In addition, if there is an increase in the Kaiser Bay Area premium for calendar year 2013, the County will pay seventy-five percent (75%) of that increase, and the employees will pay twenty-five percent (25%) of that increase.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Unpaid Leave - After Three Years For every three (3) years' continuous service, an employee may request, in writing, an extended unpaid leave of absence, giving the longest possible advance notice.
