County Premium Subsidy On and After January 1, 2014. For the plan year that begins on January 1, 2014, the County will pay a monthly premium subsidy for each health plan that is equal to the actual dollar monthly premium subsidy that is paid by the County as of November 30, 2013. In addition, if there is an increase in the monthly premium charged by a health plan for 2014, the County and the employee will each pay fifty percent (50%) of that increase. For each calendar year thereafter, the County and the employee will each pay fifty percent (50%) of the monthly premium increase above the 2013 plan premium.

  • Unpaid Leave - After Three Years For every three (3) years' continuous service, an employee may request, in writing, an extended unpaid leave of absence, giving the longest possible advance notice. Every reasonable effort shall be made to comply with such requests providing that replacements to ensure proper operation of the Employer's business can be found. Notice of the Employer's decision shall be in writing.

  • Meal Period A Contractor shall schedule an unpaid period of not more than 1/2 hour duration at the work location between the 3rd and 5th hour of the scheduled shift. A Contractor may, for efficiency of operation, establish a schedule which coordinates the meal periods of two or more crafts. If an employee is required to work through the meal period, the employee shall be compensated in a manner established in the applicable Schedule A.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year’s when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday. The scheduling of the lieu day shall be in accordance with this Agreement. (See Article 13.7(a)—Lieu Days)

  • Accrual Rate of Sick Leave With Pay Credits Full-time employees shall accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave with pay credits for each full month worked. Employees who work less than the full month but at least thirty-two (32) hours during the month shall accrue sick leave with pay on a pro rata basis for the month.

  • OPTIONAL TWELVE-MONTH PAY PLAN 1. Where the Previous Collective Agreement does not contain a provision that allows an employee the option of receiving partial payment of annual salary in July and August, the following shall become and remain part of the Collective Agreement.

  • Commencement Date The Subcontractor shall be permitted to begin the Services on , 20 (“Commencement Date”).
