COUNTY’S AUTHORITY. County has the final authority in all matters affecting the work. County has the authority to enforce Contractor’s compliance with the Contract Documents. County’s decision is final and binding on all questions relating to: quantities; acceptability of material, equipment, or work; execution, progress, or sequence of work; and interpretation of the Contract Documents. All labor, materials, tools, equipment furnished by Contractor and all work performed by Contractor shall be subject to County’s approval.

COUNTY’S AUTHORITY. 4.1 Contractor must pass a criminal background check prior to commencement of work under this Contract. Contractor agrees that County may, from time to time, conduct subsequent background checks, and if any person engaged by Contractor fails at any time to pass a criminal background check, that person must be immediately terminated from work under this Contract.

COUNTY’S AUTHORITY. County covenants and warrants to Lessee that (i) it has full right, power and authority to execute this Master Lease and each Facilities Lease and has the power to grant all rights hereunder, (ii) its execution and performance of this Master Lease and each Facilities Lease will not violate any laws, ordinances or covenants, or the provisions of any mortgage, lease or other agreement binding on County, and (iii) Lessee shall have the quiet enjoyment of the County Facilities, and Lessee shall not be disturbed as long as Lessee is not in default beyond any applicable grace or cure period.
COUNTY’S AUTHORITY. That this Agreement and all other documents delivered prior to or at the Close of Escrow have been authorized, executed, and delivered by County; are binding obligations of the County; and are collectively sufficient to transfer all of County’s rights to the Property.

  • SCOPE OF ARBITRATOR'S AUTHORITY The Arbitrator shall have no power to alter, amend, add to or subtract from the provisions of this Article or any other terms of this Agreement. If the Arbitrator finds that none of the charges contained in the Notice of Disciplinary Action are true, then he shall set aside the action taken by the appointing authority. If the Arbitrator finds that some or all of the charges are true, then he shall make a decision confirming or modifying the action of the appointing authority provided, however, that his authority to modify the appointing authority's action is limited to those disciplinary actions described in Section 3102. The Arbitrator shall have no authority to increase the discipline imposed by the appointing authority. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 3105, nothing shall preclude the Arbitrator from ordering the reinstatement of an employee with or without back pay. The decision of the Arbitrator shall be final and binding, subject to judicial review pursuant to Title 9 of Part 3 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of California, upon the employee, the County, and if applicable, VCPPOA.

  • Audit Authority The Section of Audit and Control of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic shall act as the Audit Authority.
