Common use of Court Attendance Leave Clause in Contracts

Court Attendance Leave. A faculty member subpoenaed as a witness in a civil or criminal case, other than a case in which the faculty member is a defendant, or a faculty member ordered to appear for jury duty shall be entitled to leave with pay for the time required to comply with such subpoena or order. Application for leave under this Section 6.2 shall be submitted in writing to the Campus Vice President and Xxxxxxx as soon as the faculty member is served with a subpoena or order to report for jury duty.
