COVERAGE AND COST FOR EMPLOYEES ON LEAVE OF ABSENCE a) An employee on leave of absence without pay, for reasons other than sick leave or maternity leave for a period of 15 days or more in any calendar month is required to reimburse the whole cost of welfare plans as outlined in 21.01, 21.02, 21.03 and 21.04 above in respect of that month.

COVERAGE AND COST FOR EMPLOYEES ON LEAVE OF ABSENCE. (a) An employee on leave of absence without pay, for reasons other than sick leave or pregnancy/maternity/parental leave for a period of fifteen (15) days or more in any calendar month is required to reimburse the whole cost of the benefits plans as outlined in 21.01, 21.02, 21.03 and 21.04 above in respect of that month.

  • Employees on Leave Unit members who are granted Sick Leave Bank Days shall be considered to be in regular paid status during such leave.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • Holiday Pay for Employees Laid Off An employee who is laid off at the close of business the day before a holiday who has worked not less than five (5) previous consecutive work days shall be paid for the holiday.

  • Employees on Layoff A classified employee who receives an Employer Contribution, who has three (3) or more years of continuous service, and who has been permanently or seasonally laid off, remains eligible for an Employer Contribution and all other benefits provided under this Article for an extended benefit eligibility period of six (6) months from the date of layoff.

  • Employees on Pre-scheduled Leave If an employee is on pre-scheduled leave the day of the closure, the employee will be compensated according to the approved leave.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2

  • Disability Leave of Absence Section 37.1 Leave Without Pay A member incurring any disability not duty-connected after he has exhausted all of the paid leave to which he is entitled and has accumulated, may be granted a leave without pay for a period not to exceed three (3) months, subject to approval and to the following provisions:
