Examples of Leave of Absence Without Pay in a sentence
When an employee is sick or has been injured, and the employee has no sick days or injury pay left, and extended Sick or Injury Pay has not been granted, then the employee may apply for a Leave Without Pay as provided in Sections 2121.50 (Leave of Absence Without Pay) through 2121.58 (Employment by Bargaining Agent).
If any disabling illness or injury continues past the time for which an employee has accumulated sick leave, the appointing authority may authorize a leave of absence without pay in accordance with Article 26 Leave of Absence Without Pay of this Agreement or if the employee is eligible, recommend disability leave benefits in accordance with Article 15 Disability Leave of this Agreement.
Such requests shall be made as provided in Sections 2121.50 (Leave of Absence Without Pay) through 2121.58 (Employment by Bargaining Agent).
The employee shall be entitled to use as much of her accumulated sick time as she desires, in lieu of a Leave of Absence Without Pay, during this period of time.
Upon request, aA regular, limited-term or probationary employee may be granted an Official Leave of Absence Without Pay.
