Criteria & Conditions. The ‘(name of scholarship)’ will be available to undergraduate students in any discipline across the University of Aberdeen. Applicants domiciled in the UK and classified as paying Home Fees, normally domiciled in the UK but temporarily living outside the UK and classified as paying Home Fees, EU and International students are eligible to apply for the ‘(name of scholarship)’. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need. The scholarship will lapse if the scholar leaves the University of Aberdeen. Where students are required to repeat a year because they failed to reach the required academic requirements, payment will not be made for the repeat year and resumption of the scholarship will be based on individual circumstances and will be at the discretion of the Head of School. The scholarships can only be held by students of the University – they cannot be transferred to another institution. Selection will be made via application. The successful candidates will be chosen by an award panel consisting of appropriate representatives from the University of Aberdeen and the University of Aberdeen Development Trust.

  • BASIC CONDITIONS The State shall have no obligation to disburse money for the Project under this Grant Agreement until the Grantee has satisfied the following conditions:

  • Test conditions 6.1.1. The test shall be performed on a flat, dry concrete or asphalt surface affording good adhesion.

  • Safe Conditions Whenever an employee reports a condition which the employee feels represents a violation of safety or health rules and regulations or which is an unreasonable hazard to persons or property, such conditions shall be promptly investigated. The appropriate administrator shall reply to the concern, in writing, if the employee's concern is communicated in writing.

  • Training Conditions 3.1 The Trainee shall attend an approved training course or training program prescribed in the Training Agreement or as notified to the trainee by the relevant State or Territory Training Authority in accredited and relevant Traineeship Schemes.

  • Unsafe Conditions In accordance with 29 CFR § 1977, occasions might arise when an employee is confronted with a choice between not performing assigned tasks or subjecting himself/herself to serious injury or death arising from a hazardous condition at the workplace. If the employee, with no reasonable alternative, refuses in good faith to expose himself/herself to the dangerous condition, he/she would be protected against subsequent discrimination. The condition causing the employee's apprehension of death or injury must be of such a nature that a reasonable person, under the circumstances then confronting the employee, would conclude that there is a real danger of death or serious injury and that there is insufficient time, due to the urgency of the situation, to eliminate the danger by resorting to regular statutory enforcement channels. In addition, in such circumstances, the employee, where possible, must also have sought from his Employer, and been unable to obtain, a correction of the dangerous condition.

  • Contract Conditions This section contains conditions which shall be complied with during the performance of this contract. The conditions come in two parts, general conditions and special contract requirements.

  • TEACHING CONDITIONS The parties recognize that the availability of optimum school facilities for both student and teacher is desirable to insure the high quality of education that is the goal of both the teacher and the Board. It is also acknowledged that the primary duty and responsibility of the teacher is to teach and that the organization of the school and the school day should be directed at insuring that the energy of the teacher is primarily utilized to this end.

  • PROJECT CONDITIONS A. The Grantee agrees to the following Project Conditions:

  • Qualifying Conditions An employee shall receive two (2) hours Call Time at the straight time rate in addition to pay for time actually worked under the following conditions:

  • Specific Conditions If applicable, specific conditions required after a risk assessment will be included in Exhibit G. Grantee shall adhere to the specific conditions listed therein.
