Cultural Monitoring. Cultural Monitoring shall provide the following:  Perform field training for Debris Removal crew(s) concerning an artifact discovery  Review daily work areas to identify work areas of concern  Premark sites that require heightened cultural observation  Collect disturbed artifacts for repatriation  Determine whether further activities will result in an adverse effect to the cultural resources and  Issue stop-work order(s)/avoidance as necessary  Coordinate with agency representatives and Debris Removal crews, Biological monitors, and Stormwater professionals as appropriate.  Repatriation of disturbed artifacts MONITORING REQUIREMENTS Cultural Monitoring is required at all Debris Removal locations. Cultural resources include religious, ceremonial, medicinal, burial, occupation, midden, and remains. Monitors shall aid and assist Debris Removal crews to avoid disturbing cultural resources, as seen below. However, if presence is known not to exist, verbal clearances from the local tribe(s)/cultural monitors will not require further cultural monitoring. All crews shall be provided with Calaveras Band of Mi-Wuk Tribe contact information.

  • Program Monitoring The Contractor will make all records and documents required under this Agreement as outlined here, in OEC Policies and NHECC Policies available to the SRO or its designee, the SR Fiscal Officer or their designee and the OEC.
