Field Training. Immediately after the effective date of the Registration Statement for the Certificates, DISTRIBUTOR shall be responsible for conducting field training of all of its associated registered representatives authorized to sell the Certificates in those states where the Certificates are approved for sale. The training program shall be developed and conducted by DISTRIBUTOR, although AAL may also participate in training activities. DISTRIBUTOR will coordinate with AAL concerning those AAL employees who will be involved in the development of the training program and in its execution. The training program shall be approved by both AAL and DISTRIBUTOR prior to implementation.

The employer shall provide necessary forms and reasonable 972 assistance for the employee to file a Workers’ Compensation claim. Field Training. 1 As a minimum, field equipment training for operations personnel shall include:

When members of the Association are actively engaged in performing the duties of Field Training Officers, they shall be granted one (1) hour of straight pay for each eight (8) hours that a Field Training Officer has a probationary officer. This amount can be prorated for working a partial day.
2. When members of this Association are actively engaged in performing the duties of Detective Training or Investigator Training, they shall be granted one (1) day off with pay for each of the designated Field Training Evaluation Periods in which they are involved.
3. When members of this Association are actively engaged in performing the duties of Field Training Supervisors, they shall be granted one (1) day off with pay for each of the designated Field Training Periods in which they are involved. Members assigned as Field Training Supervisor shall also receive one (1) additional eight (8) hour day of pay at straight time for monitoring and completing all necessary paperwork for all (regardless of how many) probationary officers, functioning in a solo patrol capacity, are assigned to them. Payment for these services will be on the last paycheck of each year and will be contingent upon the completion of monthly evaluations on time and turning these evaluations in to the Field Training Officer Coordinator, for all probationary officers assigned to them.
4. All days off with pay taken pursuant to this section shall be taken off at a mutually agreed time as decided by the affected member and the Chief of Police. Under no circumstances shall pay be granted in lieu of time off provided in this section.

Field Training. A. As a minimum, Contractor's hands‐on equipment training for District’s operations personnel will include identifying location of equipment and reviewing the purpose of piping, valves, and flow options; identifying instrumentation including location of primary element, location of instrument readout, basic operation, and information interpretation.
B. Contractor shall discuss, demonstrate, and perform standard operating procedures and round checks, including preventive maintenance activities and perform startup and shutdown procedures. Contractor shall perform the required equipment exercise procedures. Contractor shall perform routine disassembly and assembly of equipment if applicable. Contractor shall identify and review safety items and perform safety procedures, if feasible.
C. Contractor shall demonstrate preventive maintenance such as lubrication; normal maintenance such as belt, seal, and bearing replacement; and up to major repairs such as replacement of major equipment part(s) with the use of special tools, bridge cranes, welding jigs, etc.
D. Contractor's training shall include District‐approved practice maintenance and repair job(s), including mechanical and electrical adjustments and calibration and troubleshooting equipment problems.
