Current Employee Testing: General Standard. A. The Public Employer may require a current employee to undergo drug and alcohol testing if there is reasonable suspicion that the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol during work hours. "Reasonable suspicion" means an articulate belief based on specific facts and reasonable inferences drawn from those facts, which an employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
