Curricular Load. (a) The College recognises the commitment of staff to the education of the boys and will continue to refine the face-to-face contact so that no teacher will be required to perform an excessive workload. (b) The maximum curricular load in 2004 will be defined as an average of 79% face-to- face periods per fortnightly cycle The maximum curricular load in 2005 and 2006 will be reduced to 78% and 75% respectively. These percentages include stand-ins. Allocation of face to face periods in excess of the above are to be negotiated with the staff member concerned and may be counted as co-curricular for the purposes of this agreement. In determining the number of face-to-face periods for an individual teacher the school will be mindful of: (i) the needs of teachers (ii) the need for additional release time for teachers in promotion positions to efficiently carry out their responsibilities (iii) the total number of duties assigned to a staff member at any one time. (c) Although duties such as marking, exam preparation, and review of the school curriculum are all expectations of staff of the College, they are not included in determining the curricular load of staff under 5 (b) of this sub clause or the co- curricular load under sub clause (7) of this clause. (d) Where normal timetables are disrupted due to teacher absences, other teaching staff may be called upon to ensure that students are afforded an appropriate standard of education. (e) Mindful of the need for preparation time the school commits itself to: (i) Allowing those who have full days on Friday (Senior School) and Wednesday (Junior School) to use Assembly as DOTT time. (ii) In the Senior School for the week they do Saturday sport, those on full teaching loads of 5 classes and 45 periods have, where possible, Friday afternoons free. (iii) Every endeavour will be made to allow staff a minimum of one session of DOTT time in the daily timetable. (f) The responsibilities of yard duties, assemblies, chapel and tutor periods are an accepted part of the normal teaching commitment of staff of the College but are excluded from the calculation of curricular or co-curricular loads and will be allocated on a fair and equitable basis. (g) During the term of this agreement a clear definition of the role of Xxxxx will be prepared in consultation and a mutually agreed position determined.

  • EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES 1. In this Agreement, extra-curricular programs and activities include all those that are beyond the provincially prescribed and locally determined curricula of the school district. 2. The Board and the Association consider it desirable that teachers participate in extra-curricular activities, and recognize that participation in extra-curricular activities by the individual teacher is on a voluntary basis.

  • Planned Outages Seller shall schedule Planned Outages for the Project in accordance with Good Industry Practices and with the prior written consent of Buyer, which consent may not be unreasonably withheld or conditioned. The Parties acknowledge that in all circumstances, Good Industry Practices shall dictate when Planned Outages should occur. Seller shall notify Buyer of its proposed Planned Outage schedule for the Project for the following calendar year by submitting a written Planned Outage schedule no later than October 1st of each year during the Delivery Term. The Planned Outage schedule is subject to Buyer’s approval, which approval may not be unreasonably withheld or conditioned. Buyer shall promptly respond with its approval or with reasonable modifications to the Planned Outage schedule and Seller shall use its best efforts in accordance with Good Industry Practices to accommodate Xxxxx’s requested modifications. Notwithstanding the submission of the Planned Outage schedule described above, Seller shall also submit a completed Outage Notification Form to Buyer no later than fourteen (14) days prior to each Planned Outage and all appropriate outage information or requests to the CAISO in accordance with the CAISO Tariff. Seller shall contact Buyer with any requested changes to the Planned Outage schedule if Seller believes the Project must be shut down to conduct maintenance that cannot be delayed until the next scheduled Planned Outage consistent with Good Industry Practices. Seller shall not change its Planned Outage schedule without Buyer’s approval, not to be unreasonably withheld or conditioned. Seller shall use its best efforts in accordance with Good Industry Practices not to schedule Planned Outages during the months of July, August, September and October. At Buyer’s request, Seller shall use commercially reasonable efforts to reschedule Planned Outage so that it may deliver Product during CAISO declared or threatened emergency periods. Seller shall not substitute Energy from any other source for the output of the Project during a Planned Outage.

  • CLEC OUTAGE For a problem limited to one CLEC (or a building with multiple CLECs), BellSouth has several options available for restoring service quickly. For those CLECs that have agreements with other CLECs, BellSouth can immediately start directing traffic to a provisional CLEC for completion. This alternative is dependent upon BellSouth having concurrence from the affected CLECs. Whether or not the affected CLECs have requested a traffic transfer to another CLEC will not impact BellSouth's resolve to re-establish traffic to the original destination as quickly as possible.

  • Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where Xxxx has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses IDLC systems to provide the local service to the End User and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to Xxxx. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will implement one of the following alternative arrangements for Xxxx (e.g. hairpinning): 1. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to any spare copper that exists to the customer premises. 2. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to an existing DLC that is not integrated. 3. If capacity exists, provide "side-door" porting through the switch. 4. If capacity exists, provide "Digital Access Cross Connect System (DACS)- door" porting (if the IDLC routes through a DACS prior to integration into the switch). 2.6.2 Arrangements 3 and 4 above require the use of a designed circuit. Therefore, non- designed Loops such as the SL1 voice grade and UCL-ND may not be ordered in these cases. 2.6.3 If no alternate facility is available, and upon request from Xxxx, and if agreed to by both Parties, BellSouth may utilize its Special Construction (SC) process to determine the additional costs required to provision facilities. Xxxx will then have the option of paying the one-time SC rates to place the Loop.

  • Teaching Load 11-1 The parties recognize that the number of students, the number of preparations, and the amount of planning time are related to student performance. 11-2 CLASS SIZE 11-2-1 The parties recognize that class size is related to economics and that reduction of class size is faced with fiscal constraints. The parties further recognize that it is not feasible at this time to set general numerical limitations upon class size because of physical space available, special programs, special student needs, attendance area variances, differences in scheduling systems, busing, and because of other variable causes affecting class size. Nevertheless, the parties shall make reasonable effort to maintain class size at reasonable, workable, and educationally effective levels in all situations. 11-3 TEACHER LOAD 11-3-1 Teaching load shall be defined as the number of separate class preparations that a teacher has per school day as delineated in the course description guide.

  • System Logging The system must maintain an automated audit trail which can 20 identify the user or system process which initiates a request for PHI COUNTY discloses to 21 CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of COUNTY, 22 or which alters such PHI. The audit trail must be date and time stamped, must log both successful and 23 failed accesses, must be read only, and must be restricted to authorized users. If such PHI is stored in a 24 database, database logging functionality must be enabled. Audit trail data must be archived for at least 3 25 years after occurrence.

  • RE-WEIGHING PRODUCT Deliveries are subject to re- weighing at the point of destination by the Authorized User. If shrinkage occurs which exceeds that normally allowable in the trade, the Authorized User shall have the option to require delivery of the difference in quantity or to reduce the payment accordingly. Such option shall be exercised in writing by the Authorized User.

  • Normal Hours of Work 10A.01 The normal work day is defined as the twenty-four (24) hour period beginning at 12:00 Midnight. 10A.02 The employer has the option of working either five (5) eight (8) hour days or four (4) ten

  • Downtime There may be downtime during the Migration. The duration of the downtime will depend on the amount of data that Agency is migrating. Axon will work with Agency to minimize any downtime. Any VIEVU mobile application will need to be disabled upon Migration.
