Agreed Efficiency Improvements. (1) First Teaching Appointment: a Teacher, who, at the end of the initial twelve (12) months service with the Centre is deemed by the Centre not to have developed adequate teaching skills, may be appointed as a temporary teacher and subject to contract of service, Initial Employment at the Centre, shown in Appendix 1. (2) Normal full-time working hours at TSH for Specialists staff and Administration are 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday. (3) Normal full-time working week for Teacher Assistants is 32.5 hours. (4) All employees of TSH will be provided with a lockable cabinet which they can use to store confidential information and their personal belongings. (5) All staff shall be provided with a contract of service and job description form (JDF). (6) All employees shall be allowed a meal break of not less than 30 minutes or more than one hour between the hours of 12.00 noon and 2.00 pm. Such time shall not count as time worked. (7) Should staff members take on a job share role the Centre will, with consultation of the employees job-sharing, provide guidelines for the arrangements of the job share situation.

Agreed Efficiency Improvements. (1) Professional Development (a) Professional development activities shall be undertaken partly in College time and partly in a teacher's own time; where feasible, in equal proportions. (b) There will continue to be consultation with employees in the planning of professional development. (c) Staff recognise that there is a need for a formative professional development process that focuses on the development of excellence in teaching and learning within all aspects of the life of the school and commit themselves to development of such a system over the duration of the agreement. (2) Promotion Positions (a) While maintaining the promotion structure described in the Award, the College shall have the discretion to adapt this structure to meet its educational needs. The normal processes of appointment to promotion positions will be followed. (b) Appointments to Head of House will be for an initial five-year term. (c) Appointments to Curriculum Leader will be for an initial five year term. All other promotional appointments will be for an initial three-year term. (d) All re-appointments to Head of House and Curriculum Leader for second and subsequent terms will be for three years and subject to satisfactory summative appraisal. Procedures for summative appraisal shall be developed in consultation with representatives of Heads of House and Curriculum Leaders. (e) In all cases the appointment to the promotion position may be terminated before the end of the term of appointment by mutual agreement of the College and the member of staff, or by the College in the case of an unsatisfactory summative appraisal. (f) During the term of this agreement, promotional positions, their definitions and remuneration will be reviewed in consultation with the enterprise bargaining committee and a mutually agreed position determined.

  • Improvement Plans A professional improvement plan is a clearly articulated assistance program for a teacher whose student growth measure dimension of the evaluation is below the expected level of student growth. For the purposes of this agreement, improvement plans shall be based on the individual student growth measure level, and not for overall subjects or classes taught.

  • Needs Improvement the Educator’s performance on a standard or overall is below the requirements of a standard or overall, but is not considered to be unsatisfactory at this time. Improvement is necessary and expected.

  • Quality Improvement VRC shall develop programs designed to improve the quality of care provided by the Radiologists and encourage identification and adoption of best demonstrated processes. Practice and VRC acknowledge that, in connection with such quality improvement activities, it may be necessary to provide VRC with Protected Health Information and Practice and VRC agree to treat such information in accordance with Article 9;

  • ALTERATIONS & IMPROVEMENTS Tenant shall not make any alterations, additions or improvements or do any type of construction to the Property without first obtaining Landlord's written consent. Unless prior written agreement is reached between Tenant and Landlord, any such alterations, additions, improvements or construction shall become part of the Property and shall remain at the expiration of Tenant's Lease term. If Landlord approves of alterations, additions, improvements or construction in writing and Tenant intends to use contractors to undertake such work, the contractors must first be approved in writing by Landlord. Tenant must also place any funds to cover the amount of any alterations, additions, improvements or construction in an escrow account approved by Landlord before the commencement of the work. Landlord shall designate the times and manner of the work being done, exclusively.

  • Existing Improvements All improvements located on the Site as of the date of execution of the Construction Contract, whether above or below the surface of the ground, including but not limited to existing buildings, utilities, infrastructure improvements and other facilities.

  • Improvement Plan A detailed, written plan collaboratively developed between the teacher and evaluator, utilized when a teacher receives an Evaluation Rating of ineffective. The approved form for the Improvement Plan is attached to this agreement as Appendix .

  • Improvement Any alteration to the land or other physical construction located on or off the Property that is associated with this subdivision/PUD and building site developments.

  • Project 3.01. The Recipient declares its commitment to the objectives of the Project. To this end, the Recipient shall carry out the Project in accordance with the provisions of Article IV of the General Conditions.

  • School Improvement 1. The Board and the Association agree that employee participation in decision making is effective in providing positive results for education. 2. The provisions contained in this section shall apply to all school improvement plans, programs or processes set forth by school improvement committees established in the Xxxxxxx-Xxxxxx School District as a result of Section 1277 of the Revised School Code. 3. It is understood that participation on school improvement committees is voluntary. Further, employees who participate, or are non-participants, in such activities shall not be negatively evaluated for any conduct relative to such committees. 4. In the event that any provision(s) of a school improvement plan, program or process or application thereof violates, contradicts, or is inconsistent with this Collective Bargaining Agreement, the Collective Bargaining Agreement shall prevail.

  • Projects There shall be a thirty (30) km free zone around the projects excluding the Metro Vancouver Area. For local residents, kilometers shall be paid from the boundary of the free zone around the project. Workers employed by any contractor within an identified free zone who resides outside of that same free zone will be paid according to the Kilometer Chart from the project to their residence less thirty
