DATABASE MANAGEMENT AND COMPUTER EQUIPMENT Clause Samples

The 'Database Management and Computer Equipment' clause defines the responsibilities and standards for handling databases and computer hardware within the scope of an agreement. It typically outlines requirements for maintaining, securing, and updating computer systems and software, as well as ensuring that data is properly stored, backed up, and protected from unauthorized access. For example, the clause may specify who is responsible for providing and maintaining servers, or set minimum security protocols for data handling. Its core function is to ensure that both parties understand their obligations regarding technology infrastructure, thereby reducing the risk of data loss, breaches, or operational disruptions.
