DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING. Subject to the operating needs of any department or agency, leave without loss of pay shall be granted on the day after Thanksgiving Day, and treated as follows: (a) Such day shall not be considered as a holiday under this Article; provided, however, (b) Leave granted shall be considered as time actually worked for the purpose of determining eligibility for overtime compensation. (c) Employees who work the day after Thanksgiving shall receive: compensatory time off at straight-time rates on an hour-for-hour worked basis not to exceed nine (9) hours, and regular pay or overtime pay for hours worked, if applicable, as defined in the contract. (d) Employees who have that day as a regularly scheduled day off and do not work shall receive up to nine (9) hours’ of compensatory time off. (e) The provisions of Sections 9 and 10(c) apply to the day after Thanksgiving.
