Days of Observance. 16 Each listed holiday shall be observed once each calendar year on the date established by state 17 law or, if there is no such law, on the date established by METRO. When one of the holidays 18 designated below falls on Sunday, the holiday shall be observed on Monday. When one of the 19 holidays designated below falls on Saturday, the holiday shall be observed on Friday.
