DBE Goal Setting. Given the construction budget for this project, it is anticipated that a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal will be required for this project. Xxxxxx-Xxxx will prepare the written documentation regarding DBE goal and submit to TDOT Civil Rights office for review.
DBE Goal Setting. Given the construction budget for this project, the Town will be required to set goals for disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) participation in the construction contract as defined in federal regulation 49 CFR 23/26. Xxxxxx-Xxxx will work with personnel at the TDOT Civil Rights Office to set an appropriate and realistic DBE goal for the project based on the type and quantity of work being performed and the local availability of qualified DBE contractors. Xxxxxx-Xxxx will prepare a DBE Goal Worksheet for submittal to the Town and TDOT for review and to seek approval.
DBE Goal Setting. In accordance with 49 CFR Part 26, The Department establishes an overall state DBE goal tri-annually. In the event the Department assigns a project specific DBE goal, the Public Entity is required to meet that goal through its contractors or demonstrate good faith efforts. The Public Entity shall ensure that DBE provisions and goals are included in its invitations to bid and resulting contracts. DBE payment and utilization information shall be tracked through the B2Gnow software.
