Methods of Measurement. The methods used to identify the educational strengths and needs of students are set forth in the approved Application.
Methods of Measurement. 6.2.1.1. The sound made by the vehicle type submitted for approval shall be measured either indoors or outdoors by the methods described in Annex 3 and Annex 7 to this Regulation. The specific conditions for indoor testing are provided in Annex 8 to this Regulation. The results of the outdoor and indoor tests are deemed equivalent. For each specific test condition for vehicles, the manufacturer can select to test the vehicle either indoors or outdoors. The Type Approval Authority shall always have the option to mandate an outdoor test for verification. The option of the type approval authority to mandate an outdoor test shall apply to any test specified in this Regulation, including conformity of production testing. In addition, the sound shall be measured on the stationary6 vehicle in the case of a vehicle where an internal combustion engine cannot operate when the vehicle is stationary, the emitted sound shall only be measured in motion. In the case of a hybrid electrical vehicle of category M1 where an internal combustion engine cannot operate when the vehicle is stationary, the emitted sound shall be measured according to Annex 3, paragraph 4. Vehicles having a technically maximum permissible laden mass exceeding 2,800 kg shall be subjected to an additional measurement of the compressed air noise with the vehicle stationary in accordance with the specifications of Annex 5, if the corresponding brake equipment is part of the vehicle.
6.2.1.2. The values measured in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 6.
2.1.1. above shall be entered in the test report and a certificate corresponding to the model shown in Annex 1.
Methods of Measurement. (i) All quantities of Products received or delivered by or into trucks or marine vessels shall be measured and determined based upon the meter readings at the Terminal, as reflected by delivery tickets or bills of lading, or if such meters are unavailable, by applicable calibration tables, as set forth on a Terminal Service Order or pursuant to mutual agreement of the Parties.
(ii) All quantities of Products received or delivered by or into railcars shall be measured and determined based upon the meter readings at the Terminal, or if such meters are unavailable, by applicable calibration tables, as set forth on a Terminal Service Order or pursuant to mutual agreement of the Parties.
(iii) All quantities of Products received and delivered by pipeline shall be measured and determined based upon the meter readings of the pipeline operator, as reflected by delivery tickets, or if such meters are unavailable, by applicable calibration tables, as set forth on a Terminal Service Order or pursuant to mutual agreement of the Parties.
(iv) Deliveries by book transfer shall be reflected by entries in the books of TLO.
(v) All quantities shall be adjusted to net gallons at 60° F in accordance with ASTM D-1250 Petroleum Measurement Tables, or latest revisions thereof. Meters and temperature probes shall be calibrated according to applicable API standards. Customer shall have the right, at its sole expense, and in accordance with rack location procedure, to independently certify such calibration. Storage tank gauging shall be performed by TLO’s personnel. TLO’s gauging shall be deemed accurate unless challenged by an independent certified xxxxxx. Customer may perform joint gauging at its sole expense with TLO’s personnel at the time of delivery or receipt of Product, to verify the amount involved. If Customer should request an independent xxxxxx, such xxxxxx must be acceptable to TLO and such gauging shall be at Customer’s sole expense.
Methods of Measurement. All quantities of Products received or delivered by or into truck or rail shall be measured and determined based upon the meter readings at each Terminal, as reflected by delivery tickets or bills of lading, or if such meters are unavailable, by applicable calibration tables. All quantities of Products received and delivered by pipeline at each Terminal shall be measured and determined based upon the meter readings of the pipeline operator, as reflected by delivery tickets, or if such meters are unavailable, by applicable calibration tables. Methods of Measurement. 6.2.1.1. The sound emitted by the vehicle type submitted for approval shall be measured by the method(s) described in Annex 3 to this Regulation for the vehicle in motion and for the vehicle when stationary;5 in the case of a vehicle with an electric motor or with an internal combustion engine that does not operate when the vehicle is stationary, the emitted sound shall only be measured when the vehicle is in motion. If the vehicle has user selectable software programs or modes which affect the sound emission of the vehicle, all these modes shall be in compliance with the requirements in this paragraph. Testing shall be based on the worst case scenario. For hybrid electric vehicles, the tests shall be performed twice under the following conditions:
(a) Condition A: The batteries shall be at their maximum state of charge; if more than one 'hybrid mode' is available, the most electric hybrid mode shall be selected for the test;
(b) Condition B: The batteries shall be at their minimum state of charge; if more than one 'hybrid mode' is available, the most fuel-consuming hybrid mode shall be selected for the test. The final result is the highest of the test results for conditions A and B.
6.2.1.2. The value(s) measured in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 6.
2.1.1. above shall be entered in the test report and on a form conforming to the model in Annex 1 to this Regulation.
6.2.1.3. The sound level determined by the method described in paragraph 3.1. of Annex 3 to this Regulation when the vehicle is in motion shall not exceed the limits prescribed (for new vehicles and new exhaust or silencing systems) in Annex 4 to this Regulation for the category to which the vehicle belongs.

(ii) All quantities of liquid petroleum Products shall be adjusted to net gallons at 60° F in accordance with ASTM D-1250 Petroleum Measurement Tables, or latest revisions thereof. Meters and temperature probes shall be calibrated according to applicable API standards.
