Death of a Relative Not Included in A. Above (Death in the Immediate Family) - A leave of absence, chargeable to sick leave, shall be allowed for absence due to the death of a relative not included under the definition of "Immediate Family" as defined in Item A. above. Such leave shall be limited to two (2) consecutive calendar days - one of which shall be the day of the funeral and the other the calendar day before or the calendar day after the funeral. Such leave may be extended under unusual circumstances at the sole discretion of the employee's supervisor.
