DEDUCTION OF UNION DUES. 3.01 The Employer agrees to deduct from the wages of each employee, such Union dues, initiation fees and assessments as are authorized by regular and proper vote of the membership of the Union. The statement referred to above shall be sent to the Union by fax or mail when requested in hard copy or downloaded from the Employer’s FTP site by the Union or uploaded by the Employer to the Union’s FTP site. 3.02 The Union agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Employer from any and all claims, suits, judgments, attachments and from any form of liability arising from or as a result of the deduction of such dues in accordance with the foregoing authorization, and the Union will refund direct to any employee from whom a wrongful deduction has been made. 3.03 Each year the Employer shall calculate the amount of Union dues, initiation fees and assessments deducted from the employee's pay and shall indicate same on the T-4 slip of each employee by no later than February 28th.

DEDUCTION OF UNION DUES. 3.01 2.01 When used herein and in authorizations as signing to the Union an amount equivalent to Union dues, the expression "Union dues" means the amount of the regular Union dues payable by members of the Union as confirmed from time to time by written notice to the Company from the officers of the Union. 2.02 As a condition of employment, each employee entering the bargaining unit shall be required by the Company to sign an authorization in duplicate assigning to the Union until the employee leaves the bargaining unit an amount equivalent to Union dues, and shall send one copy of the authorization to the Union. 2.03 The Employer agrees to deduct Company shall deduct, as a condition of employment, from the wages of each employeeemployee in the bargaining unit, such Union dues including, where applicable, 2.04 All dues, initiation fees and assessments as are authorized by regular and proper vote of the membership of the Union. The Employer further agrees shall be remitted to deduct the Union dues automatically from the wages of new or rehired employees' first pay. Box 13083 Postal Station “A”, Toronto, Ontario, M5W 1V7 in hard copy or downloaded from the Employer’s FTP site such form as shall be directed by the Union or uploaded to the Company along with a completed Dues Remittance Form R-115. A copy of the Dues Remittance Form R-115 will also be sent to the Union office designated by the Employer to the Union’s FTP siteArea Coordinator. 3.02 2.05 The remittance and the R-115 form shall be accompanied by a statement containing the following information: a) A list of the names of all employees from whom dues were deducted and the amount of dues deducted; b) This information shall be sent to both Union addresses identified in Article 2.04 in such form as shall be directed by the Union and agreed to by the Company. 2.06 The Union agrees to shall indemnify and save the Company harmless the Employer from any and against all claims, suits, judgments, attachments and from any form or other forms of liability arising from or as a result that may arise out of any action taken by the deduction of such dues Company, in accordance compliance with the foregoing authorization, and the Union will refund direct to any employee from whom a wrongful deduction has been madethis Article. 3.03 Each year 2.07 The Company, when preparing T-4 slips for the Employer shall calculate employees, will enter the amount of Union dues, initiation fees and assessments deducted from dues paid by the employee's pay and shall indicate same on employee during the T-4 slip of each employee by no later than February 28thprevious year.

The statement referred , of the amount of the deduction to above shall be sent to the Union by fax or mail when requested in hard copy or downloaded from the Employer’s FTP site by the Union or uploaded made by the Employer for regular Union dues and the Employer shall have the right to rely on such written notification until it receives other written notification from the Union’s FTP siteUnion signed with the same formality. 3.02 4.03 The Union agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Employer from any and harmless against all claims, suitsdemands and expenses arising out of the application of Article 4 of this Agreement, judgments, attachments and from any form of liability arising from or provided that the Union shall not indemnify the Employer for expenses incurred as a result of an error committed solely by the deduction of such dues in accordance with the foregoing authorization, and the Union will refund direct to any employee from whom a wrongful deduction has been madeEmployer. 3.03 4.04 Each year the Employer shall calculate the amount of Union dues, initiation fees and assessments dues deducted from the employee's pay and shall indicate same on the T-4 slip of each employee by no later than February 28th.

The contents of such letter must be agreed upon by no later the Company. 3.4 The Company agrees to forward the Membership Application duly completed, as attached to this Agreement, to the Union within ten (10) calendar days from date of hire or rehire of an employee. The Union shall bear the expense of printing and mailing the Membership Application, the contents to be such that it is acceptable to the Company. 3.5 The Company shall provide the Union with a list containing the current names, addresses and telephone numbers of all bargaining unit employees whenever a written request to do so is received from the Union. Such written requests will not be made more than February 28ththree (3) times per year.
