Deductions from Sick Leave. A deduction shall be made from an employee’s accumulated sick leave bank when an employee has sick leave credits and is at risk of lost wages from scheduled work because of absence due to sick leave. If an employee is absent for part of a workday on account of illness, then a deduction of the actual scheduled hours lost shall be made from the employee’s cumulative sick leave bank.
