Definition of Base Salary. For purposes of this Agreement, "Base Salary" means your base salary as of the Termination Date, excluding: the Bonuses or any other type of bonus payments, commissions, incentive payments or any other remuneration paid directly to you, or any other income received in connection with stock options, contributions made by the Company under any employee benefit plan, or similar items of compensation.

Definition of Base Salary. (398) For purposes of computing sabbatical leave allowance, death benefits, rate of salary deduction, short term disability, long term disability, summer school rate, and similar matters, a teacher’s base salary is defined as his/her contracted salary for the year involved, as determined by Appendix B of the Master Agreement. Base salary does not include long service increments, extra-pay for extra-duty, fringe benefits, or other remuneration which the teacher may receive from time to time. For each teacher who has contracted other than on an annual basis, that teacher’s contracted salary shall be annualized for purposes of this computation.
