Long Service Increments. After completion of twelve (12), sixteen (16), twenty (20) years service as a teacher in the Mt. Pleasant Public School System, longevity pay of five percent (5%) on the first step of the BA column shall be paid for each of the above periods of service. After twenty-five years of service as a teacher in the Mt. Pleasant Public Schools, the longevity pay increment shall be seven percent (7%) on the first step of the BA column; after 30 years of service, the increment shall be 5%. Thus, total longevity pay shall be: After 12 years = 5% of the BA step 1; After 16 years = 10% of the BA step 1; After 20 years = 15% of the BA step 1; After 25 years = 22% of the BA step 1; and After 30 years = 27% of the BA step 1. The only exception to the above is an administrator covered by the Tenure Act.
Long Service Increments. 7.1.5.1 An employee shall receive the 20 year long service increment, (Step 20 Year LSI) on the Salary Schedule, after completion of twenty (20) years of full-time service with the College (service does not include periods of unpaid leave).
7.1.5.2 An employee shall receive the 25 year long service increment, (Step 25 Year LSI) on the Salary Schedule, after completion of twenty-five (25) years of full-time service with the College (not including periods of unpaid leave).

Long Service Increments. BCGEU members who were remaining members of the bargaining unit as of July 1, 2005, shall be entitled to one more long service increment after which no further entitlement shall remain for that individual. This entitlement shall not apply to employees hired after July 1, 2005.
Long Service Increments. (a) Long Service Increment 1 (LSI 1): an Employee who has completed eight (8) consecutive years service at Mount Royal University and has been paid at grid level 7 (seven) during the immediately preceding two years shall be paid at the corresponding pay grid as per Appendix III.
(b) Long Service Increment 2 (LSI 2): an Employee who has completed ten (10) consecutive years service at Mount Royal University and has received LSI 1 during the immediately preceding two years shall be paid at the corresponding pay grid as per Appendix III.
(c) Leaves granted under Article 23.1 or the Memorandum of Agreement regarding PARENTAL LEAVE, shall not be deemed to interrupt the progression towards a long service increment.
(d) Long Service Increments shall be effective on the qualified Employee’s anniversary date.

Long Service Increments. After completion of fifteen (15), twenty (20), twenty-five (25) and thirty (30) years of service as a teacher in the Mt. Pleasant Public Schools System, the following rates of longevity pay based on the first step of the BA column shall be paid for each of the periods of service below. After 15 years = 1.35% of the BA step 1; After 20 years = 2.7% of the BA step 1; After 25 years = 4.05% of the BA step 1; and After 30 years = 5.4% of the BA step 1. The only exception to the above is an administrator covered by the Tenure Act.
