Common use of Definition of Immediate Family Clause in Contracts

Definition of Immediate Family. For the purpose of implementation of Article 9 of this Agreement, only the following shall be considered members of the immediate family of an employee: spouse; son; son-in-law; daughter; daughter-in-law; father; father-in-law; mother; mother-in-law; sister; sister-in-law; brother; brother-in-law; grandchild; grandfather; grandmother; aunt; uncle; niece; nephew; a person standing in loco parentis to the employee; or a person permanently residing in the household of the employee, regardless of the relationship to the employee.

Definition of Immediate Family. For the purpose of implementation of Article 9 purposes of this Agreementprovision, only the following an immediate family member shall be considered members of the immediate family of an employeelimited to: spousemother; mother-in-law; father; father-in-law; husband; wife; domestic partner; son; son-in-law; daughter; daughter-in-law; fatherbrother; father-in-law; mother; motherbrother-in-law; sister; sister-in-law; brother; brother-in-law; grandchildgrandmother; grandfather; grandmother; aunt; uncle; niece; nephew; or grandchildren of the unit member or spouse, any relative living in the unit member's immediate household, or anyone who, over a person standing in loco parentis period of time, has held the place of such family members to the employee; employee or a person permanently residing in the household spouse of the employee, regardless of the relationship to the employee.
