Deflection Limits Sample Clauses

Deflection Limits i. Calculated total deflections of any part of the temporary shoring system and top of rail elevation shall not exceed the criteria outlined in Table 2 Deflection Criteria. Include the accumulated elastic deflection of all of the wall elements (piles, anchors, lagging, walers, strut/xxxxx restraints, etc.), as well as the deflection due to the passive deflection of the resisting soil mass. Horizontal distance from shoring to track C/L measured at a right angle from track Maximum horizontal movement of shoring system Maximum acceptable horizontal or vertical movement of rail S > 25’ 1% of shoring height above excavation line - ii. Braced excavations should be designed for conditions in which the ground surface on all sides is relatively uniform in elevation. If the ground surface elevation varies significantly from one side of the excavation to the other, the deflection of the higher braced shoring towards the side with lower braced shoring shall be evaluated. This analysis would approximate that required for shoring supported by xxxxxx, where the lower shoring acts as the xxxxx thrust block, such that the passive deflection of the lower shoring is added to the higher shoring deflection and the resulting sum is verified to not exceed the deflection criteria in Table 2.
Deflection Limits. Metal roof panel assemblies shall withstand wind and snow loads with vertical deflections no greater than 1/180 of the span.
Deflection Limits a. Deflection of any door member in a direction normal to the plane of the wall when subjected to the indicated design loads shall not exceed l/175 of its clear span or ¾ inch, whichever is less. b. For cantilevers, the span shall be taken as two times the distance between anchor centerline and end of cantilever. c. The deflection shall not exceed 50 percent of the nominal joint width at sealant joints occurring between framing members and adjacent materials, unless otherwise required by sealant manufacturer. d. Upon reversal of load direction at magnitudes up to and including 1.5 times design pressures, slippage at fastened and/or clamped connections shall not exceed 1/8 inch. e. Glass deflection at full design load shall not exceed 1/100 of its span, or ¾ inch, whichever is less. f. Metal panel deflection shall not exceed 1/90 of its span or ¾ inch, whichever is less. The span shall be taken as the lesser of the distances between the horizontal or vertical support members.
Deflection Limits. Deflection of any framing member in a direction normal to the plane of the wall when subjected to the indicated design loads shall not exceed l/175 of its clear span or ¾ inch, whichever is less.
Deflection Limits. For wind loads, no greater than 1/240 of the span. D. Wind-Uplift Resistance: Provide metal roof panel assemblies that comply with UL 580 for wind- uplift- resistance classindicated. 1. Uplift Rating: As required for Project location and height.

  • Transaction Limits You understand and acknowledge that your use of the Services is subject to a limit on volume (in fiat currency terms) that you may transact in a given time period. Such limits may vary, at our sole discretion, depending on a variety of factors, and we may apply higher limits to certain Account holders at our discretion.

  • Can I Roll Over or Transfer Amounts from Other IRAs or Employer Plans If properly executed, you are allowed to roll over a distribution from one Traditional IRA to another without tax penalty. Rollovers between Traditional IRAs may be made once every 12 months and must be accomplished within 60 days after the distribution. Beginning in 2015, just one 60 day rollover is allowed in any 12 month period, inclusive of all Traditional, Xxxx, SEP, and SIMPLE IRAs owned. Under certain conditions, you may roll over (tax-free) all or a portion of a distribution received from a qualified plan or tax-sheltered annuity in which you participate or in which your deceased spouse participated. In addition, you may also make a rollover contribution to your Traditional IRA from a qualified deferred compensation arrangement. Amounts from a Xxxx XXX may not be rolled over into a Traditional IRA. If you have a 401(k), Xxxx 401(k) or Xxxx 403(b) and you wish to rollover the assets into an IRA you must roll any designated Xxxx assets, or after tax assets, to a Xxxx XXX and roll the remaining plan assets to a Traditional IRA. In the event of your death, the designated beneficiary of your 401(k) Plan may have the opportunity to rollover proceeds from that Plan into a Beneficiary IRA account. In general, strict limitations apply to rollovers, and you should seek competent advice in order to comply with all of the rules governing rollovers. Most distributions from qualified retirement plans will be subject to a 20% withholding requirement. The 20% withholding can be avoided by electing a “direct rollover” of the distribution to a Traditional IRA or to certain other types of retirement plans. You should receive more information regarding these withholding rules and whether your distribution can be transferred to a Traditional IRA from the plan administrator prior to receiving your distribution.
