Common use of Denial Clause in Contracts

Denial. (a) Except as provided in par. (b), no person whose application for an initial motor vehicle dealer license has been denied may do business as a motor vehicle dealer. (b) If the applicant held a valid license in the previous license year, the applicant may continue to do business after his or her application has been denied, as authorized under s. 227.51 (2), Stats., provided the applicant meets all of the following require- ments: 1.
