Department Chairpersons. 15-1. Department Chairpersons or Heads are selected by the secondary school principals or directors as appropriate. The number of Department Heads shall be determined by the Board of Education upon recommendation of the Superintendent. The recommendation shall be based upon one (1) or more staff members required to constitute a department. The total number of team leaders at the middle level is determined by the projected number of enrolled students for the upcoming year.
