Dependent Care Assistance Plan. (a) The purpose of the Section 125 Dependent Care Assistance Plan (DCAP) is to permit eligible Per Diem Nurses to make an election to pay for certain dependent care expenses with salary reduction from compensation contributed to the Plan before federal income tax is paid to the Internal Revenue Service (“Salary Reduction”) in accordance with Sections 125 and 129 of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) of 1986 and regulations issued pursuant thereto. DCAP shall be construed to comply with said Code Sections and to meet the requirements of any other applicable provisions of law. (b) DCAP will be administered by the County’s Human Resources Employee Benefits & Services Division consistent with said IRC Sections and the County’s Dependent Care Assistance Plan Document.
