Design Mapping Sample Clauses

Design Mapping. The Consultant will provide the following design mapping that conforms to Chapter 21 of the Highway Design Manual. The mapping shall be tied into the New York State Grid Coordinate System. The mapping will be provided in MicroStation/InRoads format: • 1” = 20’ scale mapping (22” x 34”) with points and 1-foot contour intervals The Consultant will provide supplemental mapping when needed for design purposes and to keep the mapping current for the duration of the project. All base mapping will be performed using the MicroStation Version V8i. Drawing files will conform to current NYSDOT level, line and symbology configurations (latest NYSDOT distribution). All dimensions will be in U.S. Survey Feet.

Design Mapping. The Consultant shall provide mapping conforming to the NYSDOT Survey and Mapping Standards. This mapping shall incorporate the design survey data obtained under Section 2.01. All graphics generated from terrain data shall be created and produced in the current version of MicroStation (By Bentley Systems, Inc.) and the file formats will be ‘DGN’. All CADD Files shall conform to the naming, format and metadata requirements of the CADD Standards and Procedures Manual. The Consultant will provide the following design mapping: • 1:20 scale mapping with 1 foot contour intervals. • Locate all planimetric features within the survey limits. • Locate all aerial and underground utilities. • Trees and other landscaping features. • Drainage system, including size and type of structures and pipes, and their invert elevations. • Digital Terrain Model (DTM) for the project. All DTM’s including associated coordinate databases will shall be delivered in InRoads ‘DTM’ and ‘ALG’ formats, and shall be feature based as outlined in the NYSDOT CADD Standards and Procedures Manual. • Existing highway boundary and property lines. The Consultant will include in the contract plans: • Survey baseline ties • Survey benchmarks The Consultant will provide supplemental mapping when needed for design purposes and keep the mapping current for the duration of the project.
Design Mapping. The Consultant will provide the following design mapping:  1:20 scale mapping with 1 foot contour intervals (for 11x17 half scale drawings)  All base mapping will be produced using AutoCad Civil 3D 2022 The Consultant shall incorporate all supplemental survey data obtained under Subsection 2.01 above.
Design Mapping. [Work by Sub-consultant] The Subconsultant will provide the following design mapping: · 1” = 20’ scale mapping with 1 foot contour intervals. The work consists of developing and/or finishing the hardcopy and/or digital mapping data collected under section 2.01 (Design Survey). Digital products will be delivered in Microstation format. Graphic products shall conform to the specifications, guidelines and practices established by NYSDOT. An abbreviated survey control report may include the following: general location plan, Baseline plot, general overview of the project, instruments used, horizontal and vertical controls, point listing, Baseline tie diagrams, benchmark listing, and raw coordinate data. The deliverables may include a report and baseline summary and benchmark tab ‘tie sheet’ or just the baseline / BM tie sheet. A minimum of 3 benchmarks will be required for the project. Three (3) copies of the Survey Control Report, hard copies of the survey with and without 1 foot contours, and appropriate computer files will be provided to the Prime-Consultant.

  • Design Development An interim step in the design process. Design Development documents consist of plans, elevations, and other drawings and outline specifications. These documents will fix and illustrate the size and character of the entire project in its essentials as to kinds of materials, type of structure, grade elevations, sidewalks, utilities, roads, parking areas, mechanical and electrical systems, and such other work as may be required.

  • Design Development Phase INDICATE IN STATEMENT OF WORK “NOT APPLICABLE” IF SECTION IS NOT APPLICABLE 1.1.6.1. The ARCHITECT/ENGINEER shall prepare from the approved Schematic Design Studies, the Design Development Documents consisting of drawings (including at least architectural, landscaping, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical plans, building sections; and finish schedule), outline specifications following the Construction Specification Institute "CSI" Format and other necessary documents to fix and describe the size and character of the entire Project as to its site, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, materials and other such essentials as may be appropriate, for and until approved by the State. 1.1.6.2. The ARCHITECT/ENGINEER shall conduct meetings with the State, Efficiency Vermont, and relevant members of the design team, to review the Design Development Documents for the purposes of furthering the energy efficiency objectives of the Project. 1.1.6.3. The ARCHITECT/ENGINEER shall prepare for the State a revised accounting of how the Project is responding to LEED criteria. 1.1.6.4.
