DESIGN SPECIALIST. TECHNICAL ILLUSTRATOR SPECIAL Under very general direction to perform duties of a substantially higher nature than those required of Technical Officer 4 positions including the following additional aspects: To develop designs and to prepare drawings of extreme complexity using established engineering and design principles. To guide the work of senior drafting personnel and to check their most complicated work. To train others in a field of specialization. To act as a consultant in a field of specialization, without reference to others. To handle considerable engineering information and make complicated calculations. To perform other pertinent duties as required.

DESIGN SPECIALIST. Duties: Under limited direction: To undertake duties and responsibilities at a substantially higher level of ability and competencethan those required of Technical Specialist To make contributions to the work of the Company. To successfully undertake many of the duties and responsibilitiesof professional positions. To provide highly effective support to the more senior professional staff and Experience Secondary School Honour Graduation, plus a minimum of years' pertinent experience, or the equivalent in experience,additional education and/or training; OR Graduation from a recognized institute of advanced technolog or equivalent formal education and a minimum of years' pertinent experience. Knowledge, and Must have demonstratedexceptional ability as a Design Specialist or Technical Special. Must have a sound basic knowledgeof the fields of engineering or science involved. Must have a good knowledge of the work of related groups, Must have a good knowledge of all pertinent policies, practices and procedures. Must possess initiative and display excellentjudgment.

  • The Architect ENGINEER shall prepare for the State a revised accounting of how the Project responds to LEED criteria.

  • Design Services The Engineer shall perform services during the schematic design phase, the design development phase, the contract documents phase, and the bidding period as hereinafter specified.

  • Health plan specification The Employer will require health plans participating in the Group Insurance Program to develop and implement health promotion and health education programs for State employees and their dependents.

  • Architect/Engineer (A/E) means a person registered as an architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1051, as a landscape architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1052, a person licensed as a professional engineer pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1001 and/or a firm employed by Owner or a design-build contractor to provide professional architectural or engineering services and to exercise overall responsibility for the design of a Project or a significant portion thereof, and to perform the contract administration responsibilities set forth in the Contract.

  • Engineer The individual or entity named as such in this Agreement.

  • Architect Engineer shall provide assistance to Owner through the commissioning consultant/agent for the purpose of advising and counseling Owner’s personnel in the usage, operation and maintenance of the building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

  • Design-Builder The person or entity responsible for the proper completion of the activities described in the Contract Documents and who executes the Contract.

  • Design Phase Services § 3.2.1 The Architect shall review the program and other information furnished by the Owner, and shall review laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the Architect’s services.

  • SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Services not set forth in this Article 3 are Supplemental or Additional Services.
